Everyday Superheroes podcast

stories of everyday people with chronic pain and fatigue

Episode 2 - Emma Reilly (endometriosis)

Emma talks about what it’s like to live with endometriosis, a condition where the tissue that lines the womb (the endometrium) is found outside the womb, which can cause constant, and sometimes agonising pain. We get to hear about coping with chronic pain and fatigue, growing up with social anxiety, and how her experiences inspired her to co-found a mental health startup myndr.co.uk

Episode 1 - James Allen (ankylosing spondylitis)

The founder of CPSidekick, James, talks about what it’s like to live with ankylosing spondylitis, an auto-immune condition which causes pain and inflammation in joints including the spine, hips, shoulders and neck, and how this inspired him to create a wearable pain diary to help manage chronic pain
